NeoKare PHBM is safe and pasteurised human breast milk which has not been pooled. The product is similar to the milk from a Milk bank and complies with NICE guidelines. NeoKare PHBM can be used when a mother’s own milk is not available.

Available frozen in 50 ml bottles.

Orders can only be delivered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Standardised and Pasteurised Human Breast Milk Powder

Product description

NeoKare PHBM is standardised and pasteurised human breast milk powder for reconstitution. The resultant product is similar to the milk from a milk bank and complies with NICE guidelines. NeoKare PHBM powder can be used when a mother’s own milk is not available.

Available in a bottle of 6 g powder to be reconstituted with 50 ml water.

NeoKare Nutrition offers parents an option to purchase safely screened and processed breast milk from a pharmaceutical grade facility, located here in the UK.

The milk from NeoKare is

  • Screened for HIV 1&2, HTLV, Syphilis, HCV and HBV
  • Pasteurised as recommended by WHO and NICE guidance
  • Available in both standardised being NeoKare 70Cal (70 Kcal energy per 100 ml) or unstandardised (NeoKare PHBM)

An increase in maternal breast milk or banked donor breast milk was associated with a lower chance
of neonatal infection/necrotising enterocolitis. This therefore led to better IQ outcomes*.
